Hosting provider guide

Brand the panel, build plans, support customers, license servers, and operate a growing hosting service.

HudsonPanel is designed to sit behind an independent hosting company, agency, managed service, or infrastructure provider. The provider owns the servers and customer relationship; HudsonPanel supplies the licensed control-panel software, updates, and integrated hosting stack.

Present your hosting brand

Upload your own panel logo from Administrator → Profile. The logo appears in AdminPanel and AccountPanel. For DNS, choose local authoritative DNS, Bunny DNS, Bunny DNS with nameservers under your own domain, or Cloudflare DNS. Hosting plans, customer banners, and customizable technical-difficulties pages let the service reflect how you operate.

Build plans around real services

Create reusable plans with storage, bandwidth, domains, databases, mailboxes, and application limits. Feature Manager controls whether customers can access backups, PHP selection, Python, Node.js, Git, cron jobs, API services, Discord bots, ASP.NET services, and other optional AccountPanel tools. Export every plan to JSON and import it on another HudsonPanel server.

Move more than one account at a time

Open Accounts → Migrations and connect to a HudsonPanel, cPanel, DirectAdmin, or Plesk source. HudsonPanel discovers available accounts and packages before transfer. Select the accounts and destination plans, then start a durable sequential batch.

The migration worker stores temporary source credentials encrypted, resumes after panel restarts, retries recoverable failures, supports safe partial-account continuation, and produces one completion summary. Website previews, source maintenance mode, DNS activation, alias and redirect handling, email, database validation, and .htaccess compatibility reports support the cutover.

Offer a full application stack

Beyond PHP and WordPress, plans can expose Python applications, Node.js projects and persistent workers, API services, Discord bots, ASP.NET Core services, Git, and cron jobs. AdminPanel controls supported PHP and Node.js versions, extensions, defaults, account availability, and service health.

Choose the backup policy

Connect rsync-compatible backup servers or Hetzner Storage Boxes. Configure one shared schedule, retention copies, optional AdminPanel backups, and an optional 20-day emergency restore point. Customers can connect their own Storage Box where allowed, review readable restore dates, and restore account files, databases, and email account settings.

Understand licensing

One HudsonPanel license activates one server. The public plan includes a 30-day trial followed by annual billing, and HudsonPanel does not add a per-account fee as the number of hosting accounts on that licensed server grows. Each additional server needs its own active license.

Support and troubleshoot safely

Use alerts, customer messages, AccountPanel banners, activity history, resource views, migration reports, and security recommendations during day-to-day support. When HudsonPanel support is needed, generate the root-only redacted server health report from Panel → Contact HudsonPanel. It includes service state and relevant diagnostics while excluding or redacting passwords, API keys, environment values, and private keys.
